Numbers 1-10

The Arabic numbers from 1 to 10 are: ١ وَاحِد (wāhid) - one ٢ اِثْنَانِ (ithnāni) - two ٣ ثَلَاثَة (thalātha) - three ٤ أَرْبَعَة (arba'a) - four ٥ خَمْسَة (khamsa) - five ٦ سِتَّة (sitta) - six ٧ سَبْعَة (sab'a) - seven ٨ ثَمَانِيَة (thamāniya) - eight ٩ تِسْعَة (tis'a) - nine ١٠ عَشَرَة ('ashara) - ten Note: The forms above (3-10) are the feminine citation forms, used when counting masculine nouns. Arabic numbers 3-10 use reverse gender agreement.

one, two, three
The first three numbers.
أَرْبَعَة، خَمْسَة، سِتَّة
arba'a, khamsa, sitta
four, five, six
Note: سِتَّة has a shadda on the taa.
سَبْعَة، ثَمَانِيَة، تِسْعَة، عَشَرَة
sab'a, thamāniya, tis'a, 'ashara
seven, eight, nine, ten
These complete the first ten numbers.
