رَمَضَانُ هُوَ الشَّهْرُ التَّاسِعُ فِي التَّقْوِيمِ الْهِجْرِيِّ وَهُوَ أَعَزُّ الشُّهُورِ عِنْدَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ. يَصُومُ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ طُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى غُرُوبِ الشَّمْسِ.
Transliteration
Ramaḍānu huwa ash-shahru at-tāsiʿu fī at-taqwīmi al-hijriyyi wa huwa aʿazzu ash-shuhūri ʿinda al-muslimīna. yaṣūmu al-muslimūna min ṭulūʿi al-fajri ḥattā ghurūbi ash-shamsi.
English translation
Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar and it is the most beloved month for Muslims. Muslims fast from dawn until sunset.
