اللَّهُ

Allāh

Allah / God

A1nounroot: أ-ل-ه

اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ

Allāhu lā ilāha illā huwa al-ḥayyu al-qayyūm

Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence (2:255)

رَبٌّ

Know that Allah is severe in punishment and that Allah is Forgiving, Merciful (5:98)

Every soul will taste death (3:185)

وَقُلْ رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا

wa-qul rabbi zidnī ʿilmā

And say: My Lord, increase me in knowledge (20:114)

لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَى قَوْمِهِ

laqad arsalnā nūḥan ilā qawmih

We certainly sent Noah to his people (7:59)

أَمْرٌ

إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُ إِذَا أَرَادَ شَيْئًا أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ

innamā amruhū idhā arāda shayʾan an yaqūla lahū kun fayakūn

His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it: Be, and it is (36:82)

عَبْدٌ

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي أَسْرَى بِعَبْدِهِ لَيْلًا

subḥāna alladhī asrā biʿabdihī laylan

Exalted is He who took His Servant by night (17:1)

وَلَا تَدْعُ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنْفَعُكَ وَلَا يَضُرُّكَ

wa-lā tadʿu min dūni Allāhi mā lā yanfaʿuka wa-lā yaḍurruk

And do not invoke besides Allah that which neither benefits you nor harms you (10:106)
